Our Mission is to nurture abused and neglected children through collaboration, advocacy, treatment and prevention.

Our programs include Child Advocacy Center, Family Visitation Center and Anti - Human Trafficking Awareness.

The Children's Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Reporting Abuse


If you suspect a child is being abused, it should be reported to Medina County Job and Family Services (MCJFS) at



If a child is in immediate danger, please call 911.


The longer abuse continues, the greater the potential for serious and long-term emotional and psychological difficulties are for the child. 

Human Trafficking Coalition


Founded in April of 2014 by Rhonda Wurgler from The Children's Center of Medina County and Amber McClain from Medina County Job and Family Services, the Medina County Coalition Against Human Trafficking is a group of concerned individuals who have come together to end human trafficking, to provide education and help in Medina County, and networks for victims to begin healing.

Their mission is to educate and promote for the prevention and end human trafficking and to provide help and networks for victims to begin healing.

If you find yourself wanting to lend a hand in ending human trafficking, please join us and attend a general meeting. We hold our meetings the fourth Thursday monthly.
