Rhonda Wurgler, MPA, Executive Director
Rhonda has a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. She has experience as a Deputy Sheriff for Medina County, an Administrator of the Medina County Home Arrest Program, and as a Treasurer of several other non-profits in the Medina area.
Karen Fitzgerald, MSN, PNP-BC
Karen has a Bachelors Degree in Community Health Education and Nursing and a MSN in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Karen brings to the Children's Center an expertise in the care of pediatrics. She is also an instructor at the University of Akron, College of Nursing.
Robyn Sylvis, LPN
Robyn has been a nurse in Medina County for 31 years. She has special training for pediatrics and has given many children in Medina County their immunizations over the last 31 years.
Barbara Michelson, PHD
Barbera holds a MA and Ph.D in Counseling Psychology from Kent State University. She has over twenty years of experience in the field of mental health with individuals and families who are coping with crisis and has experience in the areas of divorce recovery, treatment of trauma, alcohol and drug dependence, sexual dysfunction and medical health psychology.
Debbie Cooper, Volunteer
Debbie brings to the Children's Center 19 years experience in Accounting for Pepsi. In addition to volunteering at the Children's Center she is employed at Chad Allan Consulting and Slate Rock Safety in the Accounting Department .
