In Medina County, more than 475 investigations of child abuse and neglect were conducted in 2010. Statistics show that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before the age of 18.

The Children’s Center of Medina County is Thankful to the many caring professionals, individuals, and civic groups in Medina County who provide us with the needed funds to continue our mission and help children who have been physically, mentally, and sexually abused. Without you we would not be able to continue to heal families and change lives!
  
The Children’s Center of Medina County has been generously funded by the following groups Medina Sunrise Rotary, Dorman Farrell, MOMS Club of Medina West, Medina Eagles Aerie 2224. 
 
The Children's Center of Medina County also has received grant funds. The following are grants that have benefited the children who have received services from the Children's Center. National Children’s Alliance, Children's Trust Fund, Medina County Community Fund, The Women's Endowment Fund of Medina County.
 
 
 
In April of 2008, The Children’s Center of Medina County became recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Service. This status now allows the Children’s Center of Medina County the ability to apply for funding streams that may have previously been unavailable for it to pursue.
